Born in 1963 to Gene and Doris Jean (Morgan) Mullins, Bill grew up in Pendleton County, Kentucky the youngest of five children (brothers, Gene, Jr. and Daryl and sisters, Regina Gregg and the late Renee Brown).  He graduated from Pendleton County Memorial High School in 1981.  He began his career in funeral service in 1983 in Falmouth, Kentucky, with Woodhead Funeral Home and continued his apprenticeship with Peoples Funeral Home. 

After graduating from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, Bill moved to Winchester, Virginia, to continue his funeral service career.  He returned to Northern Kentucky in 1999 and began working at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Homes.  In March, 2007, Bill fulfilled a career-long ambition of ownership when he purchased the four Middendorf-Bullock locations.

Bill lives above the Ludlow funeral home and has been married to his wife Nancy (Deaton) for 39 years.  They have one daughter, Donna.  Bill is the former Chair for the Wreaths for Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North (KVCN), Past President of the Hebron Lions Club, is a member of the Covington Moose Lodge, Newport Elks and is a Kentucky Colonel. 

Bill's professional memberships include the Funeral Directors Association of Kentucky where he serves as the immediate past President and the Northern District Funeral Directors Association (past President).  As an additional service for the families he serves, Bill also holds a life insurance license for the purpose of pre-funding funerals.

Born in 1964 to the late Johnny and Donna "Susy" (Yelton) Deaton, Nancy grew up on a small farm outside of Butler, Kentucky.  The oldest of two daughters (sister--Karen Deaton Shoemaker), she graduated from Pendleton County Memorial High School in 1982 and attended Northern Kentucky University. 

After moving to Virginia, Nancy attended Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Political Science and a minor in History.  While in college, she was active in the Commuter Forum (a group designed to foster awareness of the needs of non-traditional students) and wrote a regular guest column for the college newspaper.  Nancy is a member of the Political Science and History Academic Societies as well as the Shepherd University Alumni Association.

Married to William "Bill" Mullins, Nancy lives above the funeral home in Ludlow. They have one child, a daughter, Donna. 

A former substitute teacher with the Ludlow Independent School District, Nancy is the former Treasurer of Wreaths for Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North (KVCN), First Vice President of the Hebron Lions Club where she was presented with the LCIF's highest honor of the Melvin Jones Fellowship, along with her daughter, Donna, she was inducted into the Boone County Chapter of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution), and she is a member of the Newport Elks and the Newport Elks Ladies Auxillary where she serves on the entertainment committee. She is a licensed Funeral Director in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, a licensed Pre-Need Insurance Agent, and a Certified Funeral Celebrant by the InSight Institute.

The son of Richard and Jo Ann Wiener, Dave and his family have strong roots in Northern Kentucky. He is the grandson of Leonard and Anna Wiener, who owned and operated a shoe repair shop on Main Street in Covington in the Main Strasse Village for 38 years. Dave's father also owned and operated a shoe repair shop on Dixie Highway in Erlanger.

Dave grew up in Erlanger, attended St. Henry Church, and graduated from Lloyd Memorial High School in 1980. He attended Northern Kentucky University and graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1993 with an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences. He has been a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer in Kentucky since 1995 and employed at the funeral home for over 30 years.

Married since 1985, Dave and his wife, Kathy Blackburn, and their three children, David II, Beth, and Anna, are residents of Union. Kathy is a Special Education Teacher at New Haven Elementary in Union. They are members of All Saints Church in Walton.

Dave is also a member of the Lloyd Memorial High School Alumni Association, and a PTA member at New Haven Elementary and Ryle High School.

An auto enthusiast, Dave also enjoys listening classic rock on the radio.

Congratulations to Dennis on his semi-retirement! We are happy to announce that he will continue his association with the funeral home but in a different capacity. Occasionally you may see him on a service but Dennis will no longer keep office hours or see families. He will be working behind the scenes to ensure that each and every family is receiving the utmost care.

A native of Indiana, Dennis attended Xavier University and Northern Kentucky University and graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1986. He has lived in the Northern Kentucky Area for most of his years.

A resident of Florence, KY, Dennis and wife Helen have three sons, Jeff, Russ, and Chris, and four grandchildren. He is a certified Christian Financial Counselor and he and Helen are members of Kento-Boo Baptist Church, Florence.

A long-time employee at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Homes, Dennis is a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer in Kentucky as well as Indiana. 

After graduating from the University of Kentucky in 1952, Irene moved to Erlanger from Ashland, Kentucky, as a high school teacher at Lloyd Memorial High School.  She had three majors:  Driver's Education, Physical Education, and Business Education.  Her teaching career lasted for 32 wonderful years:  six years at Lloyd Memorial, one year at Parkland Junior High School in Louisville, and 25 years at Dixie Heights High School.

Ironically, during Irene's first month of teaching at Lloyd, her principal asked her to do a favor for him--go play the organ for a funeral at Taliaferro Funeral Home!  Irene's hobby later became her vocation!!  She has been in and out of that same building for 67 years now, getting her Funeral Director's license after retiring from teaching.

Irene has been married to Milton McCracken, Jr. for 65 years.  They have two daughters:  Jo Harris McCracken is a CPA and Karen Delaney is an attorney.  Irene has been actively involved with the Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home for over 40 years.

Irene is a member of Lakeside Presbyterian Church, Trustee for United Christian Volunteers, and a member of the Erlanger Historical Society and Kenton County Retired Teachers Association.  She has always been active in local and community affairs, enjoys working with people, AND supporting her beloved Kentucky Wildcats!!

Kathy grew up in Kenton County where she attended St. Anthony Elementary & Scott High School in Taylor Mill. She received her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Thomas More University and achieved her Masters Degree in Special Education & Reading Specialist from Northern Kentucky University, as well as her Rank I in Special Education with Social Work concentration. 

In July 2021, Kathy retired after a 36 year career in education. She taught six years in private/parochial with the Diocese of Covington at Prince of Peace Elementary teaching Kindergarten & second grade and spent thirty years teaching Special Education at New Haven Elementary in Boone County.

She has been married to Dave for 36 years. They reside in Union, KY where they raised their three children. All three children attended New Haven Elementary, Gray Middle School & Ryle High School and pursued their college degrees at Northern Kentucky University. They currently have four grandchildren.

Kathy's interests include antiques, gardening, reading & spending quality time with family & friends. She enjoys a variety of music genres from instrumental to hard rock.

Dave is a life-long resident of Ludlow, Kentucky.  The son of the late Nancy and Bill Ziegler, he graduated from Ludlow High School in 1975.  

Dave is very involved in the Ludlow community.  He has coached youth sports at various times for many years and has been involved with the Ludlow Interfaith Committee, the Ludlow Christmas Home Tour and the Hot Dogs in the Park Program.

Dave has also served the Ludlow Independent School District in a variety of ways.  He has been an elementary classroom volunteer, a basketball and volleyball coach, a member of the Family Resource Center Advisory Board, elected to the High School Site Based Decision Making Council, a member of the Title IX Committee, a volunteer with the CLASP After School Program, sat on the Superintendent Search Committee, and was elected to the Ludlow Board of Education.

Because of his service to the children of the Ludlow School District and the community at large, Dave was awarded a lifetime PTA membership by the Ludlow PTA in 2007.  He is also a member of the Northern Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame and the Ludlow Athletic Boosters.
