Wilma Wright

Wilma J. Keeney Wright, 97, of Erlanger, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022, at Boonespring Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Union, KY.

She was born on April 27, 1925, in Covington, KY, to the late Olin and Ethel Rusk Keeney.  Together with her late husband, Paul Wright, they owned and operated the Paul Wright's TV in Erlanger for over 50 years.  They enjoyed working side by side - along with their dog, Tiny.  Later their 2 sons would also join the company.  Wilma was a long time member of the Erlanger Baptist Church and a Kentucky Colonel.

She was also predeceased by 3 brothers:  Olin, Jr., Ray and Dennis Keeney.

Wilma is survived by her 2 sons, Paul Ben (Joyce) Wright of Edgewood and Tim L. (Nancy) Wright of Erlanger; 2 sisters-in-law, Janice Keeney of Taylor Mill, KY, and Bonnie Keeney of Miramar, FL.  Also, 8 grandchildren:  Bill Elkin, Rob Elkin, Marty Wright, Kevin Theissen, Tiffany Franzen, Rachel Schwabe, Renae Shell and Ria Underwood; and 20 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, July 11, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11 a.m. all at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Chapel in Erlanger.  Entombment will follow at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Memorials, if desired, may be given to the Blue Grass Care Navigators, 7388 Turfway Road, Florence, KY  41042.
