William Clark

Biography

William L. Clark, 81, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Erlanger, died Sunday, July 19, 2009, at his home. He was Vice President of Engineering at KZF Design of Walnut Hills.

Mr. Clark was a graduate of Holmes High School and the University of Cincinnati, College of Engineering. He was an officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineering. He was also an engineer for the Boone County Planning Commission for 15 years. He was an engineer with Brooks Hershey for many years after moving to the Phoenix area. He became a member of Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church in 1951 and of Lakeside Presbyterian Church in 1959. He was ordained as a Deacon there in 1961 and as an Elder in 1966.

Survivors include, Wayne and Tracy Clark, Melanie, Christopher, and Jonathan; Tom and Peggy Clark, Brittany, Bradley, and Jeffrey; Brian and Patti Clark, Samantha and Emily; Drew and Leslie Clark, Joey and Taylor; Patsy Kendall, Chrisa Florio (son Connor), Jason Sleppy, and Timothy Kendall (daughters Carley, Kim, and Zoe); Barbara Jean Weiss, Adam Weiss (children Madeline and Zachary), Heather Rivera (children Tristen and Phoenix), and Nicholas Weiss; Lisa and Kenneth Callahan, Sarah Lawliss (son Jack)and Meghan Callahan (son Nathan); and grandson, Eric Baker (son Caleb0>

He was preceded in death by first wife, Lorraine Clark; second wife, Barbara Joyce Clark; daughter, Kathleen White; step son, Timothy Davis; step daughter, Kim Baker; and parents, Thomas Chester and Edith Oetzle Clark.

Memorials are suggested to Lakeside Presbyterian Church, 2690 Dixie Highway, Lakeside Park, KY 41017 or the charity of the donor's choice.
