Vincent Joseph “Joe” Sorg Jr., 80, of Edgewood, died Tuesday August 11, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Joe was a retired community and social planner with United Way in Cincinnati, a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran and a member of St. Pius X Church in Egdewood. He was also an avid sports fan and an amateur videographer.
Survivors include wife, Phyllis K. Owens Sorg; sons, Steven Vincent Sorg (Kelly Walsh) and Michael Joseph (Renate) Sorg; daughter, Melissa L. Sorg; and grandchildren, Emelia, Corrinne, Adam, Rebecca, Josephine (Josie), and Henry.
Visitation is Monday, August 17, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger with a Blessing at 7:00p.m. at the funeral home. Interment at the convenience of the family.
Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association, 644 Linn Street, Suite 1026, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203.
