Thomas Woodrow Ober, 88, of Erlanger, died Saturday, March 19, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood. He was a retired Foreman with B & O Railroad with 40 years of service.
Mr. Ober was a United States Army Air Corp Veteran, serving as a Corporal during World War II. He was a member of Mary, Queen of Heaven Church and the National Association of Retired and Veteran Railway Employees Inc.
Survivors include his daughters, Pamela (Thomas) Faulkner of Dry Ridge and Denise (Jay) Johnston of Union; son, Daniel T. (Leigh) Ober of Hebron; sisters, June Barhorst of Covington and Ruth (Dick) Bird of San Antonio, Texas; brothers, Jerome (Casey) Ober of Covington, Paul Ober of Erlanger, and Louie Ober of Missouri; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne Bromley Ober in August, 2009; sons, Stephen Ober and Andrew Ober; and parents, Charles and Marie McHale Ober.
