Theresa Nguyen Gamble

We are sad to announce the passing of Theresa Nguyen Gamble.  She passed away at the age of 46 on Thursday, December 23, 2022 at 5:30am.  She was peacefully at sleep at home with family.  Theresa courageously battled cancer for 2½ years.  Theresa is survived by her loving husband of 13 years, Patrick, and her 8 year old son, Noah. 

She was a true caregiver at heart and enjoyed spending her time taking care of the people around her.  Theresa’s love for her son gave her a whole new meaning of life.  Noah was the love of her life.  They loved playing together with Noah’s “squishmallows” (stuffed animals) first thing in the morning and at night before bedtime.  When Theresa wasn’t spending time with her family she was working in pharmaceutical research where she was a clinical trial manager in the development of new cancer fighting drugs.   She is survived by her mother and father John “Hoa” and Tina (Nga) Nguyen; brothers, Joseph “Thanh-Hai” and Timothy “Heiu” Nguyen.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 2409 Dixie Highway, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017 from 11 am until the Mass of Christian Burial begins at 2 pm.  Burial will immediately follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.  There will be a gathering to celebrate Theresa’s life in the undercroft of Blessed Sacrament Church from 3 pm to 7 pm.  Food and soft drinks will be provided. 

Flower arrangements and/or other memorial gifts can be sent to Blessed Sacrament Church between 8 am and 10 am on January 3, 2023.

Given Theresa’s dedication to cancer research in her professional life and her brave and courageous battle with cancer, the family wants to take time and put some thought into the best way to memorialize Theresa and give back to the Community through Cancer Charities.  When this is determined, we will notify everyone and, if you choose to do so, contributions can be made at that time.
