Terri Gurren

Terri A. (Baker) Gurren, 63, of Florence passed away Thursday evening, November 18, 2021 at UC Medical Center following a brief and sudden illness.

Born March 19, 1958 in Covington to Ronald and Mary Lou (Utz) Garnett, Terri was a recently retired Health Unit Co-Ordinator for University of Cincinnati Medical Centers ER Department. As a lifelong member of Bullittsville Christian Church, her calling in life was to help others in need. She always had a desire to fight for what was right (whether it be for Women’s Rights or for the LGBTQ community), but most of all, she loved being a grandma.

Terri was preceded in death by her dad, Ronnie Garnett in 2016.

Survivors include her daughters, Holly (Steve) Trenkamp and Jenna Leigh Gurren; her mother, Mary Lou (Utz) Garnett; sister, Toni Baker; brothers, Gary (Lori) Garnett and Tom Baker. She was grandmother to Will and Claire Trenkamp, as well as aunt to Dillion Garnett and MacKenzie Garnett.

Visitation is from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the Bullittsville Christian Church, Burlington. Memorial Services to follow at 1:00 pm. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron is serving the family.
