Ruth Craven

Ruth Louise Stone Craven, 84, of Crescent Springs, passed away Monday, August 30 at her daughter's home in Rockport, Indiana.

Born November 10, 1925 in Ludlow, Kentucky to the late Lewis and Gladys E. Thomas Stone, Ruth was a homemaker and a member of Constance Christian Church. Her hobbies included sewing and gardening.

Surviving is daughter, Catherine "Cathy" (Cecil, Sr.) Armstrong of Rockport, Indiana; granddaughter, Alisa (Mike) Murphy of Milton, Florida; grandson, Cecil Armstrong, Jr. of Lafayette, Indiana; sister, Mary Ellen (Ralph) Lenz of Waynesville, Ohio; and great grandchildren, Larry Murphy, Christopher Murphy, Zane Armstrong, Patrick Murphy, Elizabeth Murphy, Caleb Armstrong, and Savannah Armstrong.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Craven in September, 1996; sisters, Mamie Stone and Zephia Stone; and brothers, Robert Lewis Stone and Harry Garland Stanhope Stone.
