Ruth Perry Stockler Brewer, 86, of Crestview Hills died Saturday, December 8 at Brighton Gardens in Edgewood. She was a homemaker.
She was founding member of the Lakeside Presbyterian Church and was on the Architectural Committee for construction when the church was built in 1963. She was very active in church, having served as a Sunday School teacher and Youth Group leader.
She was a Pi Beta Phi Graduate of the University of Louisville.
She was a Nine Hole Golf Champion at the Ft. Mitchell Country Club.
Survivors include husband, Robert B. Brewer; daughters, Barbara Brewer Powers of Crestview Hills and Betty Brewer Woodward of Dalton, Georgia; five grandchildren, Kimberly Powers Hoyt, Bo Powers, Mark Woodward, Amy Woodward, and Molly Woodward Parks; and brother, Robert Stockler of Louisville.
She was preceded in death by parents, Pierre and Ethel Conaway Stockler.
