Ronald C. “Lefty” Pegg, Sr., 78, of Ludlow passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.
Lefty was born on August 4, 1946, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Sherman and Mildred (Perry) Pegg. He was a partner in the Autobody Shop of LBJ Autobody of Covington until his retirement. Lefty was a member, Deacon and Trustee of the First Baptist Church Covington on 4th Street; a Trustee of Panorama Apartments, Covington; Board member of the Fairhaven Rescue Mission; Special Olympics Volunteer, former Ludlow City Councilman and Mayor; and he enjoyed woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ronald C. “Ronnie” Pegg, Jr.; and brothers, Michael Pegg and Anthony Pegg.
Survivors include his wife, Ellora “Lora” (Shutts) Pegg; daughters, Melissa Pegg, Sheri Pegg and Samantha Pegg; son, George (Mary) Pegg; sisters, Anna Feldhaus and Kathy (Lloyd) Bridges; six grandchildren, Addison Pegg, Dustin Pegg, Alex Pegg, Tori Kone, Brandon Meyers and Brett Meyers; and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation is 9:00 am to 11:00 am Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the First Baptist Church of Covington on 4th Street. Funeral services to immediately follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Covington, 14 Brent Spence Square, Covington, KY 41011.
