Roland Barndt

Roland Frank Barndt, 84, of Florence, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at the Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport, Ky.
Mr. Barndt was a grain buyer for Seagrams Distillers for over 20 years. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture from the University of Wisconsin. He was a World War II Army veteran who enjoyed gardening, carpentry and was an avid reader.
He is survived by his wife, Erlene Tate Mosehart Barndt; daughters, Lori Vocke of Fort Wright and Gina Holbrook of California, Kentucky; son, Brett Tate of Florence; twelve grandchildren, Stephanie, Jennifer, Robert, Ross, Morgan, Shelby, Madison, Keaton, Corey, Harrison, Sammy and Mallory; and one great grandson, Zach.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Florence Barndt; and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Barndt.
