Robert F. Arnold, 83, of Florence, died Tuesday, December 15, at Healthcare of St. Elizabeth in Edgewood. He was a retired Letter Carrier with the U.S. Postal Service.
Mr. Arnold was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during World War II. He was a member of St. Barbara Church of Erlanger. He was also a life member of AmVets and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Roberts Arnold; sons, Dave (Kathy) Arnold of Burlington, Pat (Susan) Arnold of Burlington, and Tom (Sherry) Arnold of Monroe, Louisiana; daughters, Judy (Mike) Laughlin of Seattle, Washington; Sandra (Tim) Shields of Independence, and Roberta Arnold of Florence; sister, Sr. Martina Arnold, OSB of Villa Hills; stepchildren, Darryl (Rebecca) Orr of Independence, Robert (Debbie) Deaton of Glencoe, Sandra Dennie of Leesburg, Florida, Debra (Gary) Carroll of Erlanger, Darla Orr of Erlanger, and Tammy Ventura of Milford, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.; 26 step grandchildren and 28 step great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Delores Vogt Arnold; second wife, Anna Mae Wilde Arnold; daughter, Pamela Arnold; and parents, Joseph and Mary Christine Schwartz Arnold.
