Richard C. "Smitty" Smith, 74, of Covington, died Monday, July 5, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood. He was an Electrician with the I.B.E.W. Union Local 212 Cincinnati, OH.
Mr. Smith was a United States Air Force Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Marian Harris Smith; sons, Anthony (Jackie) Smith of Fort Mitchell, Andrew Smith of Covington, Alex (Marisol) Smith of Elsmere, Steven Smith of Covington, and Douglas Noel Florence; sister, Mary (Fred) Vagedes of Elsmere; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brothers, William Smith and Carl Smith; sister, Ursula Smith; and parents, William and Margaret Pohlman Smith.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 1117 Kenwood Road, Blue Ash, OH 45242.
