Rev. Donald Quance, Sr

Reverend Donald E. Quance, Sr., of Elsmere, died Saturday, January 17 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. He was a retired Baptist minister.
He pastored many churches including Bullittsburg Baptist Church, Burlington, Delhi Hills Baptist Church, Cincinnati, Francis Street Baptist Church, Jackson, Mississippi, La Mission Baptista Hispana, Espanola, New Mexico, and Calvary Baptist Church in Gainesville, Texas.
Reverend Quance was an Air Force veteran and a member of Kento-Boo Baptist Church in Florence.
Survivors include sons, Donald E. Quance, Jr. of Cincinnati and Daniel Quance of Sicklerville, New Jersey; brothers, Harold Quance of Newark, New York and Peter Quance of Rochester, New York; sister, Marian Tank of Swansboro, North Carolina; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty J. Howie Quance; daughter, Rebecca Cebula; and parents, Burton and Lavina Quance.
