Ralph W. Roberts, 86, of Ludlow and formerly of Booneville, Arkansas, died Wednesday, July 23, at his residence.
He was a Diesel Mechanic, Truck Driver and the retired owner of R & R Shop in Booneville, Arkansas.
Mr. Roberts was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church of Bromley, and former member, Sunday School Superintendent and Deacon at First Baptist Church of Magazine, Arkansas.
He was Past Commander and lifetime member of VFW Post#440 and Post #5248 of Booneville, Arkansas, a ham radio operator and instructor, and member of the Supreme Pup Tent Military Order of the Cootie of the United States.
He was a WWII Army Veteran, serving in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater.
He is survived by his daughter, Janet Gaiser and son-in-law John of Ludlow; four grandchildren, Colleen (Shannon) Epperson, Jeff (Lisa) Gaiser, Steve (Kelly) Gaiser and Sean (Danielle) Gaiser; and eleven great grandchildren, Teresa, Stevie, Drew, Courtney, Derek, Lauren, Payton, Anna, Adam, Ryan and John Dylan.
His wife, Virginia Burdette Roberts and parents, Denver and Dovetta Thompson Roberts preceded him in death.
Mr. Roberts' dedicated caregivers were his son in law John and his grandchildren.
