Phyllis Houp

Phyllis Schmidt Houp, 82, of Fort Wright died Monday, August 12, 2013 at her residence. She was a retired legal secretary for the firm of Wood, Herron & Evans of Cincinnati for more than 40 years and a member of the Community of Faith Presbyterian Church, Fort Wright.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Paula O’Brien in 2011; and her parents, Gilbert C. and Freda P. Bert Schmidt.

Survivors include daughter, Donna (George) Henry of Fort Thomas; son, Bruce (Donna) Houp of Erlanger; grandchildren, Ty Houp, Amy McNabb, Kyle Houp, Molly Wagner, Jacob Krebs and Patrick Henry; and great grandchildren, Elle McNabb, Claire McNabb, Cameron Wagner and Anne Marie Wagner.

Visitation is Friday, August 16, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Ludlow. Funeral services to follow at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass of N. KY., 7388 Turfway Road, Florence, KY 41042.
