Peggy Burns

Margaret Mary "Peggy" Burns died Monday, May 11, at her home in Florence.

Peggy graduated with high honors from Snellville High School and the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. She excelled as a marketing executive at Georgia Pacific, U.S. Playing Card, and Coca Cola, Inc. Peggy was also the President of the Cincinnati Chapter of the Georgia Tech Alumni.

Beloved of her parents, Andrew and Rosemary Sironko Burns; her siblings and their spouses, Andrea and Larry McMillen of Crestview Hills, Andy and Joni Burns of Alexandria, Thelma and Joe Prus of Loveland, Ohio, Julia and Joe Hanley of Beverly Hills, California, Susan Burns of Sterling, Virginia, Barbara Burns of Cincinnati, Rosemary and Brian McKeown of Cincinnati, and Kathy and Matt Kroell of Cincinnati; numerous other family members and friends; and her precious dog, Lady.

Peggy's father, Andrew, passed on July 21, 2012.
