Opal Mae White Dotson, 84, of Hebron passed on to her heavenly rewards on Saturday, December 5, 2015.
She was a longtime member of Kento-Boo Baptist Church, Florence and formerly attended Sand Run Baptist Church for many years. She formerly owned and operated Dotson’s Upholstery Company of Hebron and for many years she taught upholstery workshops and classes.
Opal was welcomed into heaven by her late parents, George and Gladys Branham White; sisters, Carolyn Blevins and Rosa Logan; brothers, Tommy White, Ray White and Paul White; grandson, Scott Dotson-Purvis and a great granddaughter, Maddie Dotson.
Survivors include husband of 60 years, Gaines Dotson; sons, David (June) Dotson, Danny (Sandy) Dotson and Eddy (Debbie) Dotson; daughters, Wanda (Barry) Holt and Tammy (Rick) Harris; 13 grandchildren, Carrie (Mike), Priscilla (Andy), Crystal, Johnathan (Corina), Danielle (Brent), Josh, Hope (Larry), Bradley, Marquel, Aaron, Sara, Noah and Jonah; 16 great grandchildren, Daniel, Zoey, Jack, Jordan, Nate, Tanna, Shelby, Jay, Audriana, Alyssa, Grayson, Trenton, Rylan, Kayson, Jase and Adalyn; sisters, Hilda Tucker and Kay Fugate; brother, David White; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation is Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Kento-Boo Baptist Church, Florence. Funeral services to immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Interment at Sand Run Cemetery, Hebron. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron is serving the family.
