Odessa Sears Phelps, 66, of Erlanger died Friday, January 11, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood. She was a retired Executive Secretary for the Drawbridge Inn and Deters & Bros.
Born September 7, 1946 in Munich, Germany to the late William and Gertrude Schmieger Sears, Mrs. Phelps enjoyed the outdoors, camping, gardening and animals.
Survivors include her husband, James E. “Jim” Phelps; daughter, Greta (Dr. Amin) Kassam of Ottawa, Canada; son, James W. Phelps of Erlanger; brother, Billy (Shirley) Sears of Crescent Springs; father in law, James Phelps of Erlanger; four grandchildren, Armand Kassam, Mikaeel Kassam, Kyle Phelps and Zach Phelps; two nieces, Dawn Cook and Amy Yeary; nephew, Kevin Sears; and five great nieces and four great nephews.
Visitation is Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger. Funeral services on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Cemetery Chapel, Fort Mitchell.
