Myrtle Williams Chambers, 71, of Florence, formerly of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, died Sunday, July 12, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. She was retired from food service at Thornwilde Elementary in Hebron.
Myrtle loved her family, and enjoyed reading, quilting and watching tennis and UK basketball.
She was preceded in death by husband, Robert E. Chambers; parents, Arnold and Ina Skidmore Williams; and sister, Ella Williams.
Survivors include daughter, Tonja (Sean) Kelly of Hebron; grandchildren, Trent and Kayla; brother, Albert (Gloria) Williams of Mount Sterling; and sisters, Nancy Colvin of Crittenden and Faye Kasten of Mount Sterling.
Visitation is Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. Funeral Service is 11:00 a.m., Friday July 17, 2015 at the funeral home. Reverend Darrell Back officiating. Interment at Burlington Cemetery.
