Morene Gavin

Morene Earls Gavin, 78, of Ludlow, died Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood. With over 40 years of employment, she retired as a Cashier with The Kroger Company.

Morene attended the Wesley United Methodist Church of Ludlow.

Survivors include sons, Daryl Lanham of Erlanger and Terry (Lisa) Lanham of Powell, Ohio; step daughters, Carolyn (Paul) Kemper of Fort Thomas and June (John) Saalfeld of Florence; step sons, Ken (Wavoline) Gavin of Florence, Wayne Gavin of Independence, and Robert (Sandy) Gavin of Taylor Mill; brother, Reverend Buford H. Earls of Cincinnati; sisters, Jean Rayborn of Ludlow and Eleanor (Woody) Napier of Louisville; 18 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Gavin in 1990; and parents, Matt and Nannie Sexton Earls.

Visitation is Sunday, December 18, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Ludlow. Funeral Service is Monday, December 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Reverend John Kalz officiating. Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger.
