Biography Mildred Virgilene Courtney Haley, 95, of Florence, died Sunday, April 25 at Bracken County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Augusta. She was a retired Hostess with The White Horse Tavern of Park Hills.
Mrs. Haley was a long-time member of Falmouth Christian Church and the West Covington Senior Club.
Survivors include her nephew, Kenneth Courtney of Brooksville; niece, Margaret Adams of Brooksville; and a large number of great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Haley in 1974; brother, Floyd Courtney; sister in law, Goldie Courtney; and parents, Pearl N. and Maggie Mattox Courtney.
