Mary Westerman

Mary Frances Westerman, 98, originally of Louisville, Kentucky, died Saturday, December 2, 2023. She was married for sixty years to the love of her life, Charles B. Westerman, who predeceased her. She retired from teaching in the Jefferson County Public Schools after 28 years. She had been a resident of Madonna Manor in Villa Hills, Kentucky, for twelve years.

She loved traveling, dancing, quilting, reading, theater, basketball, and anything at all to do with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Sally Coomes (Rick); son, Charlie Westerman (Gail Pollack); grandchildren, Brian Coomes (Shannon), Adam Coomes (Amy), Chip Westerman, Eliot West (Eric Weber), and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 10:00AM Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at the Madonna Manor Chapel followed by the funeral mass at 11:00AM. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 11:00AM.
