Mary “Jean” Radenheimer Thomas, 79, of Villa Hills, formerly of Fort Mitchell, died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Madonna Manor. She was a homemaker. She was formerly employed at Procter and Gamble and at Gloria Dei Pre-School as a Teacher's Aide.
She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church and was a graduate of Villa Madonna Academy, Class of 51.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and loved spending time with children. She was without a doubt the kindest person you’ll ever meet. Faith, Family, and Friends were her life and she lived it with grace, dignity and compassion that would have made Jesus proud. She had a strong devotion to the Blessed Mother Mary and was a true example of what it means to live as a genuine selfless Christian.
Survivors include sons, Stephen (Catherine) Thomas of Crestview Hills, Michael (Kimberly) Thomas of Edgewood, Gregory (Susan) Thomas of Fort Wright, and David (Laurie) Thomas of Villa Hills; daughter, Mary Beth (Tom) Connelly of Crestview Hills; brother, Paul Radenheimer of Crescent Springs; and grandchildren, Kristen Thomas, Peter Thomas, Abby Thomas, Courtney Thomas, Shannon Thomas, Charlie Thomas, Elizabeth Thomas, Andrew Thomas, Brigid Connelly, Brendan Connelly, Neil Connelly and Bryn Connelly.
She was preceded in death by her husband James R. Thomas in 2007; and parents, Charles and Ida Niehaus Radenheimer.
Visitation is Thursday March 15, 2012 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, Fort Mitchell. Mass to follow at 6:30 p.m. at the church. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington is serving the family.
