Mary "Margie" Blackburn

Mary Margaret “Margie” Blackburn, 71, of Covington, passed away Friday, February 7, 2025, at the VA Medical Center, Cincinnati, Ohio. 

Margie was born on November 28, 1953, in Covington, Kentucky to the late James William and Julia Mae (O’Rourke) Blackburn. She served her country in the US Army and was a Parking Lot Attendant at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport. Margie was also a member of the Grandparents Club of Panorama and she enjoyed playing Bingo and Euchre in her spare time. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Lee Blackburn. 

Survivors include her sisters, Virginia “Ginny” Nussbaum and Dianne Blackburn; and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Visitation is from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm Thursday, February 20, 2025, at the Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger. Services to follow at 12:30 pm. Interment with Military Honors will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North, Williamstown, Kentucky.
