Mary Louise “Mary Lou” Schuler Koors, 97, of Villa Hills died Monday, October 20, 2014 at her daughter’s home in Taylor Mill. She was a retired bookkeeper for Erpenbeck (A&K) Rental Properties.
Mary Lou was a 72 year member of St. Agnes Church, Fort Wright; and a member of the Hilltopper Seniors, Thomas More Woman’s Guild, St. Charles Care Center Auxiliary. She was also an avid bridge player.
She was preceded in death by her husband William E. Koors in 1998; her parents, Henry G. and Katherine Bohman Schuler; brother, Dr. Thomas Schuler in 1977; and sister, Gertrude Collett in 1991.
Survivors include daughters, Kay (Jack) Niederegger of Taylor Mill, Jane (Jim) Kleman of Erlanger and Mary Ann (Steve) Faust of Columbia, Illinois; sons, David (Vicki) Koors of Kettering, Ohio, and Michael (Dawn) Koors and Mark (Nancy) Koors, both of Villa Hills; 17 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild which is due in January, 2015.
Visitation is Tuesday, October 28, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at St. Agnes Church, Fort Wright. Mass of Christian Burial to immediately follow at 7:00 p.m. at the church. Reverend Mark Keene to celebrate Mass. Entombment at St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.
