Mary Dolores Kampsen Isenhour, 91, of Covington, died Monday, March 18, 2013 at Rosedale Green in Covington. She was a retired Medical Secretary/Transcriptionist with University Hospital in Cincinnati.
Born March 22, 1921 in Covington to the late John Henry and Eleanor Catherine Trenkamp Kampsen, Mrs. Isenhour was a member of St. Augustine Church, Covington, the Pathfinders at St. Augustine, the St. Anthony Auxiliary, the Bluegrass Swim Club, and the Boys and Girls Club of Covington. Her hobbies included gardening, playing cards, and swimming.
Survivors include daughters, Patricia D. (Norman) Martin, Linda Isenhour, and Mary Elaine Isenhour, all of Covington; sons, John P. (Debi) Isenhour, Jr. of Union and Mark J. Isenhour of Covington; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Paul “Jack” Isenhour in 1965; granddaughter, Laura Anne Martin in 2004; brothers, Joseph Kampsen, Jack Kampsen, Marvin “Merch” Kampsen, and Dr. Thomas R. Kampsen; and sisters, Eleanor E. “Bunny” Dryer and Janet Geisz.
Visitation is Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington. Mass of Christian Burial is Friday, March 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, Covington. Reverend Leo Schmidt to celebrate Mass. Interment at Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright.
