Marvin Dryer

April 18, 1938 — May 9, 2010

Marvin Leonard Dryer, 72, of Covington, died Sunday, May 9, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Florence. He was a retired Dock Worker with PIE Trucking Company of Cincinnati.

Mr. Dryer was a United States Air Force veteran, having served during the Korean War.

He was a member of St. John Church of Covington.

Survivors include his daughters, Toni (John) Wrightsman of Madison, West Virginia, Linda Daniels of Sharonville, and Katherine Dryer of Cincinnati; sons, Gary (Emily) Dryer of Jacksonville, Florida, Brian Mitchell (Mary) Dryer of Georgetown, Kentucky, Richard Dryer of Butlerville, Ohio, and Joseph (Tonya) Dryer and Eric Dryer, both of Bridgetown, Ohio; sister, Ann Dryer of Covington; 17 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Jane Darling Dryer in 2006; and parents, Fred and Elizabeth Knauf Dryer.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
