Martha Beimdiek Adair, 92, of Fort Wright, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at Hospice of the Bluegrass of Fort Thomas.
Born in Carthage, Missouri, Mrs. Adair earned a degree from the University of Missouri, where she was a member of the Tri Delta Sorority. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church of Covington, Fort Mitchell Country Club, and the Cincinnati Art Museum. She volunteered at the Children's Home of Northern Kentucky, the Cincinnati Art Museum and Sharon Woods Village.
Surviving are daughters, Barbara Roach of Boulder, Colorado and Sara (Dick) Sperry of Evergreen, Colorado; daughter in law, Anne Adair of Knoxville, Tennessee; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Norman Adair in February, 1999; son, N. Douglas Adair in 2007; and parents, George and Ida Brinkerhoff Beimdiek.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, August 21, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Fort Mitchell Country Club, 250 Fort Mitchell Avenue, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017. Graveside Service and Interment at Park Cemetery in Carthage, Missouri to be held at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
