Marjorie Ralenkotter

October 21, 1931 — February 27, 2017


Marjorie Ann Ralenkotter, 85, of Wilder, passed away Monday February 27, 2017 at Hospice of St. Elizabeth, Edgewood. She was a retired secretary for the Diocese of Covington for Bishop William A. Hughes.

Marjorie was a member of Mother of God Church, an active member of the Parish Council, Choral Club, Bereavement Committee and an International Toast Mistress. Her hobbies included photography, drawing and painting and traveling to South Carolina and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Irma Damal Pieper; and sister, Elaine Schneider.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Bernard Ralenkotter; sons, Kenneth (Teresa) Ralenkotter of Edgewood and Robert Ralenkotter of Fort Mitchell; daughters, Marilyn (Paul) Greely of Crestview and Janet (Bill) Hunter of Elgin, South Carolina; grandchildren, Chris, Matthew, Katie, Andy, Lindsey, Kyle, Justin and Eleanor; nine great grandchildren; and a sister, Marilyn Roessler of California, Kentucky.

Visitation is Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at Mother of God Church, Covington. Mass of Christian Burial to follow 12:00 Noon at the church. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.

Memorials contributions are suggested to Mother of God Church, 119 W. 6th Street, Covington, KY 41011.
