Biography

Marilyn Louise Strategier Steiber, 81, of Florence, formerly of Erlanger, died Monday morning, July 2, 2012 at Hospice of St. Elizabeth, Edgewood.

Born December 13, 1930 in Covington to the late Herbert J. and Elfrieda Perny Strategier, Marilyn was a retired Cafeteria Manager for Lindeman Elementary School, Erlanger and a former employee of Cincinnati Bell Telephone Company.

She was a member of Mary Queen of Heaven Church, Erlanger, a volunteer for New Hope Center and a former CCD teacher for St. Henry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Steiber, Sr. in 2000.

Survivors include daughters, Suzanne (Carl) Belden of Georgetown, Texas and Kathleen Clark of Erlanger; sons, Robert L. Steiber, Jr. of Newport and David J. (Kathy) Steiber of Walton; sister, Barb (the late Robert) French of Fairfield, Ohio; grandchildren, Nicholas R. Steiber, Shannon O'Connell, Colleen O'Connell, Logan Clark, Morgan Clark, Carl R. Belden, Roger G. Belden, Rachael M. Stephens, George R. Belden, Sandra Steiber, and Thomas Steiber; and great grandchildren, Kaylee Belden and Harlee Stephens.

Visitation is Friday, July 6, 2012 from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 p.m. at Mary Queen of Heaven Church, Erlanger. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Reverend Kevin Kahman to celebrate Mass. Entombment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger is serving the family.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
