Marianne Fischer Pennington, 81, of Florence, died Thursday, May 17, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Florence. She was a homemaker and was in Housekeeping for Ramada Inn in Fort Wright.
Born July 26, 1930 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Elmer and Ethel Eggleston Fischer, Marianne enjoyed reading, puzzles and crocheting.
Survivors include sons, Daniel Pennington and Timothy Pennington of Aiken, SC; daughters, Cynthia Kyle of Newport, Teresa Pennington Kincaid of Florence, and Laura Pennington Kyle of Lawrenceburg, IN; sister, Shirley Heilman of Cincinnati; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Pennington in 1971.
Visitation is Monday, May 21, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 Noon at the funeral home. Reverend Selena Newton officiating. Interment at Burlington Cemetery.
