Marian Fitzpatrick
January 29, 1924 — June 1, 2008
Marian M. "Mare" Fitzpatrick, 84, of Ft. Wright, died Sunday, June 1 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood.
She was a clerk at the former Excello Bakery of Covington. Also, she and her late husband, William, owned and operated at grocery store located at 13th and Kavanaugh Streets in Covington for a number of years.
She was a member of St. John Church, the Ft. Wright Rovers, and the Lunchbunch Group of Covington.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen C. Czirr of Florence, New Jersey, Kathy A. Ryan of Anderson Township, Ohio, and Paula M. Shumate of Florence, Kentucky; sister, Helen Huber of Cincinnati; and three grandchildren, Courtney Ryan, Jackie Ryan and Lauren Shumate.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Fitzpatrick; sisters, Catherine Buxton, Pauline Keuhn, Dorothy McCafferty, and Rosceal Czirr; brothers, John Czirr, Carl Czirr, and Paul Daniel Czirr; and parents, Albert and Caroline Engler Czirr.
