Mabel K. Rankin Benson, 91, of Florence, formerly of Villa Hills, died Sunday, September 5 at Florence Park Care Center, Florence.
Born to the late Willie "W.W." and Louise Million Rankin on June 3, 1919 at Berry, Kentucky, she was a retired Executive Secretary for Kentucky Motors Service for more than 35 years. Mrs. Benson was a member of Fort Mitchell Baptist Church, a Kentucky Colonel and she enjoyed traveling.
Surviving are daughters, Rebecca Benson of Latonia and Rita (Thomas) Brady of Covington; grandsons, Tyler (Kristin) Brady of Erlanger and Blair Brady of Covington; and great granddaughter Magnolia Brady of Erlanger.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray H. Benson in 2007; and daughter, Vicki Rae Benson.
Memorials are suggested to the Kenton County Animal Shelter, 1020 Mary Laidley Drive, Covington, KY 41015.
