Leuna Walton

Leuna Bryant Walton, 94, of Burlington, died Saturday, January 11, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood.

Born March 5, 1919 in Marshes Siding, Kentucky to the late James Elias and Melissa Jane Sears Bryant, Leuna was a retired baker with Wayside Inn. She was a member of Bellview Baptist Church, Burlington.

Survivors include son, Ray (Lois) Kidd of Manchester, Ohio; daughter, Melissa Burns of Burlington; sisters, Faye Ramsey of Cincinnati and Anna Brown of Roybro, North Carolina; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Warner Walton, in March, 2001.

Visitation is Wednesday, January 15, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 Noon at the funeral home. Reverend Joe Morgan officiating. Interment at Petersburg Cemetery, Petersburg.
