Letcher Vanderpool, 85, of Elsmere, died Sunday, September 8, 2013.
Letcher was born on November 26, 1927 in Indianapolis, IN, to Park and Agatha Lairson Vanderpool. He was their third child of nine, the second son in the family.
He was employed for 27 years by Kentucky Business Enterprises, located at the IRS Center, Covington and a member of the Point Pleasant Church of Christ, Hebron.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pauline Fox Vanderpool and his beloved daughter, Debra Vanderpool Reitz, son-in-law, Chris J. Reitz, grandchildren, Chris J. Reitz II, Elizabeth Ann Reitz Gorman, grandson-in-law, Troy Wayne Gorman, great-grandchildren Joshua and Emily Gorman. Five brothers, Alford, Amos, Jim, Allen and Earl Vanderpool all of the Lexington, KY area. He also has many nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends.
Three of his siblings have preceded him in death, Eula and Herman Vanderpool and Myrtle Vanderpool Smith.
