Lawrence M. "Max" Elsbernd, 85, of Covington, passed away Friday, September 3 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood.
Born to the late Bernard and Mary Lambert Elsbernd on May 6, 1925 in Covington, Max was a machinist for General Electric Company of Evendale for 35 years. He was also a World War II Navy Veteran and a member of St. John Church, VFW Post #1484 of Park Hills, and the Covington Turner's Club.
Surviving are sons, Mark (Sandra) Elsbernd of Latonia and Daryl Elsbernd of Covington; daughters, Marsha Wolf of Covington and Lynn (Randy) Edmondson of Independence; sisters, Dell Doker of Lakeside Park, Delores Willen of Lakeside Park and Ann (Charles) Faulk of Erlanger; grandchildren, Nina, Larry, Sam, Erin, Amanda, and Hollie; and great grandchildren, Christian, Kayla, Reigna, Isiah, Owen, Evan, Lexi, Jayden, and Christopher.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nina Mae Thompson Elsbernd in 1990.
