Larry B. Ligon, 62, of Burlington, passed from his life on June 24, 2014, into the loving arms of God to join his wife, Mary Teresa, who passed on January 14, 2014. They were married 36 years.
Larry was born on January 20, 1952 in Petersburg, to Jack Ligon, now deceased, and Margaret Pepper Sprengelmeier of Ft. Mitchell.
He was an employee of Skilcraft Sheet Metal in Burlington, an avid UK fan, member of Hebron Baptist Church, where he was a greeter and was well known by his smile.
Survivors, along with his mother, include sisters, Audrey (James “OB”) O’Brien of Walton, Jacki LaFollette of Walton, Judy (Mike) Wootton of Richmond, VA, brother-in-law, Cleveland Giles Jr. of Florence, sisters-in-law, June (Ed) Barton of Florence, Marsha (Donnie) Calhoun of Florence, Tonya Moore of Walton and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding along with his father and wife, was father-in-law and mother-in-law, Cleveland and Patsy Giles.
