Larkin Merrell, 79, of Burlington, died Saturday, May 9, at St. Elizabeth Health Care, Ft. Thomas. He was the owner of Merrell Construction Company.
Mr. Merrell was a member of Sand Run Baptist Church. He was also a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Sims Merrell; son, Gary (Diane) Merrell of Hebron; daughter, Sherry Merrell of Burlington; granddaughter, Cassandra Merrell; brothers, Edwin Merrell of Irvine, Rev. William Merrell of Burlington, John B. Merrell of Covington, and Charlie Merrell of Burlington; and sisters, Evelyn Taylor and Betty Taylor, both of Florence, and Jane Lainhart of Belvoir, Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Fannie Hill Merrell.
