Kenneth J. Anderson, 88, of Florence died on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood. Born on May 1, 1934, to Charles W. and Anna Sophie (Silbers) Anderson, Kenneth was a former co-owner of Skilcraft Manufacturing of Burlington.
He served during the Korean War in the U.S. Army, was a longtime member of Bullittsville Christian Church, Burlington, a former member, and past Chairman of the Boone County Board of Education and was a longtime member of the Hebron F&AM Masonic Lodge. Kenneth enjoyed fishing and boating.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. and Anna Sophie Anderson.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Janet (Goodridge) Anderson; daughter, LuAnn (the late Michael) Ellison; sons, Timothy Anderson and Jeffrey (Cindy) Anderson; brother, Ronnie (Janet) Anderson; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation is 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. Funeral services to immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment with Military Honors will be in Hebron Lutheran Cemetery, Hebron.
