Katherine Dietrich

Katherine Marie (Augustin) Dietrich, born to earthly life September 24, 1923, born to eternal life, August 13, 2016. Grateful daughter of Nick and Anna Augustin who came to America as immigrants from Romania. Kay is preceded in death by her loving husband, Bob. Proud and dedicated mother of 5 daughters and 1 son, Mary Ann (Paul) Fedders, Carol (John) Vogel, Kathy (the late Roger) Schumer, Peggy Wilkerson, Nicholas Dietrich and Joanne (Jeff) Beiting; grandmother to 12, Marty (Jennifer) Fedders, Matt (Julie) Fedders, Brian Vogel, Dan (Rachael) Vogel, Chrissy Vogel, Ben Schumer, Jennifer (CJ) Recher, Jason Schumer, Aaron Wilkerson, Michael (Daria) Wilkerson, Jeff (Jill) Wilkerson and Christopher Beiting; and great grandmother to 16. Honored matriarch to extended family members, Mary (Wong) & Ramon Chea, and Pauline (Wong) & Kurtis Chow. Survived by devoted sister Ann Hammelrath, sister-in-law Marian Dietrich and many loving nieces and nephews. Kay had a very strong devotion to her Catholic faith. Her dedicated commitment to family, church and community demonstrated her ever present kind and generous heart. Kay was blessed to have remained in her home with loving care provided by family and special care companions from Home Instead. She passed in peace surrounded by family. Visitation will be private. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Church, Ft. Mitchell, KY. Entombment to follow in St. Mary Cemetery Mausoleum, Ft. Mitchell, KY.
