Karen Brown

Karen Salyers Brown, 71, of Union, formerly of Hiawatha, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Hospice of St. Elizabeth, Edgewood.
Karen held multiple Senior Marketing positions with international firms and retired as the Marketing Manager for PMX Industries, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was a former member of the Boone Co. Jaycees Jaycettes, member of the Jr. Board for Crippled Children, member of the Maplewood Guild and a board member of the Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and America Tyler Salyers and brothers, Jack Salyers and Donald Salyers.
Survivors include her sisters, Betty Mulligan of Ludlow and Maggie (Andy) Neagle of Union; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation is Monday, September 18, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Ludlow. Services to follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Private interment at St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.
