June Dotson

June Jeanette Walton Dotson, 62, of Hebron, passed away at her home after a short bout with cancer on Monday July 10, 2017. She was a retired machinist after 29 years with Atkins and Pearce Corporation in Covington.

June was preceded in death by her mother, May Blake Walton Verkamp; father, John Walton; stepfather Dave Verkamp; mother in law, Opal Dotson; granddaughter, Maddie Dotson; and nephew, Scott Purvis.

She is survived by a large loving family: her loving husband, Gaines (David) Dotson; daughter, Priscilla (Andy) Dotson Parker; and her grandchildren, Audriana Parker, Grayson Parker, Rylan Parker and Adalyn Parker. She is also survived by her siblings, John (the late Pat) Walton Jr.,  Jerry Walton, Jim Walton, Jay (Connie) Walton, Joe (Nancy) Walton, Jeff (Kathy) Walton and Joan (Donald) Walton Claybern; father in law, Gaines Dotson; brothers in law and sisters in law, George Danny (Sandy) Dotson, Eddy (Debbie) Dotson, Wanda Wooden and Tammy (Richard) Dotson Harris; and a bazillion nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews who loved her dearly.

Visitation is Friday, July 14, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Homes, Hebron. Funeral service is Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Sand Run Cemetery, Hebron.
