Julia Joan Hicks, 60, of Covington, KY died Sunday, December 20, 2015 at her home. She was born December 1, 1955 in Cincinnati, OH. She worked for Holiday Inn, Ft. Mitchell as an Executive Housekeeper, retiring after 24 years.
Julia was a member of Banklick Street Church of God. She was also a loving and devoted grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Barry Hicks Sr; sons, Barry Hicks Jr of Eastern, Kentucky and Eric Hicks of Covington; daughter, Julia (Jason Covington) Hicks of Covington; three brothers; six sisters; grandchildren, Barry Hicks, III, Jason Covington, Jr., Jazmyn Covington, Savanna Hicks, Thomas Plymesser-Hicks, Jabari Covington, Juliana Hicks, and Arianna Hicks; and great-grandson, Jackson Thomas Hicks.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Leona Maultabaul Stoller.
Visitation is Monday, December 28, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington. Funeral service to follow at 12:00 Noon at the funeral home. Interment at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
