Judith A. “Judy” Megerle, 64, of Bromley died Tuesday morning, January 10, 2012 at her residence. She was a homemaker and Artist.
She was an animal rescuer, she enjoyed fishing and playing pool. She was the first woman member of the Ludlow Volunteer Fire Department and a former Dog Warden.
Survivors include a daughter, Kimberly Jean (Wayne) Cox-McIntosh of Junction City, Kentucky; sons, Shane (Brainne) Hamant of Walton, Shawn (Joy Fielders) Hamant of Bromley and Anthony Megerle of Bromley; sisters, Joan K. (Bruce) Wilcox of Cincinnati and Jean Irene (Robert) Hartmann of Cincinnati; brother, James C. Megerle of Ludlow; and grandchildren, Krista Kay Marie Hendrickson, Samantha Susan Moyer, Jeffrey Thomas E. Creekmore and Harper Noelle Megerle.
Visitation is Friday, January 13, 2012 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Ludlow. Funeral services to follow at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Chad Caddell officiating.
