Judith Lee “Judy” Haupt Kraus, 67, of Villa Hills passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Hospice of St. Elizabeth, Edgewood.
Judy loved her most recent position as school secretary for Villa Madonna Academy. She previously had a successful career in banking at First National of Covington, Provident Bank and Total Systems in Columbus, Georgia. Judy loved and cherished her grandchildren. She also loved to entertain and shared her cooking talents with family and friends. Judy was also an avid reader and loved to garden.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Kraus of Villa Hills; son, David (Vanessa) Schell of Fort Thomas; sisters, Elizabeth Grause of Park Hills and Debby (Larry) Anderson of Columbus, Ohio; brothers, Paul (Denise) Haupt of Edgewood and Joe (Peggy) Haupt of Ludlow; six grandchildren, Parker Schell, Bailey Schell, Carson Schell, Mackenzie Schell, Peyton Fossett and Jace Willoughby; nieces and nephews, Tamara Miano, Tara (Bill) Klee, Aimee (Christian) Wesselman, Lauren (Matt) Anderson Boardman, Adam (Tabitha) Stoll, Joe (Megan) Haupt, John Haupt and Sarah Haupt; and great nieces and nephews, Nicholas Klee, Madeline Klee, Will Klee, Victoria Klee, Audrey Wesselman, and Ellie Haupt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Patricia Behle Haupt.
Visitation is Wedndesay, April 30, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Mother Of God Church, Covington. Additional visiting hour Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at the church. Mass of Christian Burial to immediately follow at 12:05 p.m. Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington (Main St) is serving the family.
