Juanita Berry Zapf, 88, of St. Leon, Indiana, formerly of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, died Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Shawneesprings Care Center, Harrison, Ohio. She was a retired hairdresser.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Zapf in 2006; daughter, Anna Sue Meade; parents, David and Lucinda Halcomb Berry; six brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include daughters, Wilma (Barry) O’Connor of Kalispell, Montana, Sandy (Don) Schneider of St. Leon, Indiana, Diane Levinson of Marblehead, Massachusetts, and Cindy (Guy) Discepoli of Cincinnati; sons, James (Brenda) Meade of Flemingsburg, Kentucky and Terry Meade of Whitesburg, Kentucky; step daughter, Lori (Michael) Stehlin of Colerain Township; step sons, Raymond (Susan) Zapf, Michael (Susan) Zapf, Joseph Zapf and Daniel (Sally) Zapf, all of Cincinnati; brothers, O.G. Berry of Glencoe, Kentucky and Odell (Martha) Berry of Walton; sister, Opha (Tate) Meade of Ewing, Kentucky; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation is Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. Funeral services to immediately follow at 12:00 Noon at the funeral home. Interment at Bullittsburg Cemetery, Petersburg.
