John Edward Bramlage, 75, of Covington, died Tuesday, September 15, at Healthcare of St. Elizabeth, Florence. He was a former teacher St. Henry High School and a retired clerk with Internal Revenue Service.
Mr. Bramlage was a member of Mother of God Church, Covington and the Library Club. He hobbies included collecting coins and antiques. He also enjoyed reading, particularly history and information on Stephen Foster.
He was also a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Korean War.
Survivors include sister, Evelyn Nienaber of Elsmere; and nieces and nephews, Kathleen Murphy of Missouri, Peggy Muldoon of San Diego, Tom Muldoon of San Antonio, Sharon Kinser of Portland, Mary Martin of Virginia, Michael Muldoon of California, Gregory Nienaber of Florence, Steven Nienaber of Elsmere, John Nienaber of Florence, Ann Medlock of Florence, Tom Nienaber of Elsmere, Leonard Nienaber of Columbus, Ohio, and Michael Nienaber of Elsmere; and many great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by aunt, Elizabeth Muldoon; great aunt, Lillian Horstmann; and parents, George Edward and Hennrietta Horstmann Bramlage.
