John W. Blackwell, 64, of Burlington, Kentucky died on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood.
John was a maintenance mechanic for Sun Chemical of Cincinnati, Ohio for 37 years.
He is survived by his wife, Lou Ellen Williams Blackwell, sons John W. Blackwell, Jr. of Dayton, Ohio, Matthew Blackwell of Scott AFB, Illinois, Joe Manjarrez of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, daughters, Jackie Kakaris of Burlington, Kentucky, Hope Harpst and Carminn Larson, both of Middletown, Ohio, Emma Rose of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Megan Simms of Independence, Kentucky, brother, Harvey Blackwell of Danville, Kentucky, sisters, Rose Blackwell and Jacqueline Pittman both of Danville, Kentucky, Shirley Morgan of Stanford, Kentucky, 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Parents, John M. Blackwell and Jacqueline Sargent Blackwell preceded him in death.
