James H. “Jim” Rose, 61, of Burlington, died Monday, June 24, 2013 at his residence.

He was born on November 29, 1951 in Hamilton County, Ohio to the late Kenneth Rose and Aileen Bryant Monroe of Williamstown.

Jim was a painter for General Motors, a United States Army Veteran and member of Northview Community Church, Burlington.

Surviving along with his mother is his wife, Pamela Lavone Souder Rose; daughters, Sandy Hill and Jaime Strange, both of Burlington; brothers, Elvis Rose of Owen County, Kentucky, Donald Rose of Independence, Kenny Rose of Verona, and Kim Rose of Williamstown; sisters, Betty Carnes of Walton, Rena Epperson of Williamstown, and Vicki Conyer of South Carolina; and grandchildren, Taylor and Gavin.

A sister, Theresa Tucker preceded him in death.

Visitation is Thursday, June 27, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Hebron. Memorial Service, with a military service, to follow at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 South Loop Road, Edgewood, Kentucky 41017.
